Everything you need to know about the Strangeness IS investigative network, our membership plans, and how to get involved.
About Strangeness IS
What is Strangeness IS?
+
Strangeness IS is a paranormal intelligence network whose purpose is solving mysteries — not entertaining audiences. We aggregate intelligence from 50+ global sources, generate daily case file reports on UAP, cryptid, government disclosure, and paranormal phenomena, and provide investigators with the tools to conduct real field research. We are not a fan site. We are an active investigation operation.
Who runs Strangeness IS?
+
Strangeness IS is led by a field investigator with deep experience across UAP, cryptid, government disclosure, and consciousness research. Our analysis is conducted by human experts working in conjunction with specialized AI intelligence systems trained specifically for paranormal pattern analysis. Every published report is reviewed before publication.
How is the Strangeness Index calculated?
+
The Strangeness Index is a weighted score from 1.0 to 10.0 based on five factors: the base weight of the phenomenon class (UAP sightings vs. dimension contact, for example), the proximity of the primary witness, the degree of independent corroboration, the recurrence pattern, and the impact on the experiencer's worldview. Scores above 7.0 indicate cases where multiple anomalous factors collectively resist conventional explanation. See our
Strange Report archive for examples of the scoring system in action.
Is the information on this site accurate? How do you prevent hallucination?
+
Every report generated by our system follows strict epistemic standards. Claims are labeled as Verified, Alleged, Reported, or Inferred. Our writer system includes a built-in reference library of confirmed Congressional hearing dates, verified testimony, and documented historical cases — it cannot invent Blue Book case numbers or fabricate witness identities. When sourcing is thin, our reports say so explicitly rather than filling gaps with invented specifics. We delete reports that fall below this standard before publication.
Membership
What do I get as a free visitor?
+
Free visitors get access to the 3 most recent published intelligence reports, 3 free Oracle questions per session, the public Strangeness Map, and the ability to submit sightings. This is enough to understand what the network is about and whether it is right for you.
What is The Oracle plan ($9/month)?
+
The Oracle plan gives you unlimited access to the Oracle intelligence system, the full published report archive, daily digest emails, and the ability to download reports as PDFs. This is for people who want to stay informed and engage with the Oracle regularly but are not conducting active field investigations.
What is The Investigator plan ($19/month)?
+
The Investigator plan includes everything in The Oracle plus access to our Signal Intelligence layer (mainstream headlines scored for hidden patterns), 2 live 30-minute sessions per month with a Strangeness IS field researcher, early access to new features, and a personal member case file that accumulates intelligence from your Oracle sessions and investigator calls. This plan is for people conducting active investigations.
What is The Chronicler plan ($89/year)?
+
The Chronicler plan is the full annual membership. It includes everything in The Investigator plus unlimited live investigator sessions, a verified pin on the Strangeness Map, priority cross-referencing of your cases against the Oracle network database, and access to the monthly exclusive deep-dive report. At $89 per year, it saves $139 compared to monthly billing.
What is a live Believer Agent session?
+
A Believer Agent session is a private 30-minute consultation with a Strangeness IS field researcher. You can use it to review a case you are investigating, analyze a personal experience, or get guidance on field investigation methodology. Sessions are conducted by phone. Investigator members receive 2 sessions per month. Chronicler members have unlimited sessions. You can also book standalone sessions by calling us directly.
Can I cancel anytime?
+
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your member portal. Annual plans can be cancelled but are non-refundable after the first 7 days. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
The Oracle
What is The Oracle?
+
The Oracle is the primary intelligence interface of the Strangeness IS network. It is a specialized AI system trained on paranormal research, Congressional testimony, documented cases, and field investigation methodology. It does not speculate carelessly, does not dismiss accounts, and maintains the same epistemic standards as our written reports. Every Oracle session is analyzed for intelligence patterns that feed back into the network's case database — with your privacy protected.
Does the Oracle remember my previous conversations?
+
Within a single session, the Oracle maintains full conversation context. Across sessions, your conversation summaries are stored in your member profile (paid members only) and used to build your personal case file. The Oracle does not have access to your account details during a conversation unless you provide them.
What is a member case file?
+
A member case file is an AI-generated intelligence report built specifically for you, based on your Oracle sessions and any notes from investigator calls. It classifies your experiences using our Omega/Alpha/Beta/Gamma/Delta classification system, identifies geographic patterns, cross-references your accounts against documented cases, and provides specific investigative recommendations. Case files are generated on demand from your member portal and are visible only to you and network investigators.
Reporting a Sighting
How do I report a sighting?
+
Submit your account at
strangenessis.com/submit.html. Include the exact date, time, and location, a detailed chronological description of what you observed, any photographs or video, the names of any other witnesses, and any physical evidence (marks, objects, physiological effects). The more specific your submission, the more useful it is for cross-referencing. You can also call us directly to report verbally.
What happens after I submit a sighting?
+
Your submission enters our review queue. Credible submissions are verified and added to the Oracle intelligence database, where they may be cross-referenced in future reports. High-significance submissions may be selected for a full intelligence report. Your submission may also be added to the Strangeness Map if a specific location is provided. You will be notified if your account is featured in a report.
Is my submission kept confidential?
+
Yes. Your personal identifying information is never published without your explicit consent. Submissions may be summarized and included in intelligence reports or the Oracle database, but will not include your name, contact information, or any details you have indicated are private. If you wish your submission to be completely anonymous, do not include identifying information in the submission text.
Contact
How do I reach a human investigator?
+
